I’m Drew, 20, studying actuarial science at Wits, which mostly means I calculate probabilities by day and ponder black holes, relativity, and the vastness of the cosmos by night. Science, for me, isn’t just facts and equations, it’s a way to stare at the universe and ask all the questions that make life feel endlessly fascinating.

I’m obsessed with space, from the mind-bending possibilities of light-speed travel to the mysteries of black holes and distant stars like my favorite, Zeta Cyg. I spend way too much time thinking about wormholes, multiverses, and whether Copernicus secretly had a crush on the night sky. Brian Cox is basically my cosmic hype man, and I’ll happily discuss physics, astronomy, and the science behind the movies I love (yes, Interstellar counts).But science isn’t just theory, it’s play and curiosity too. My ten rabbits are excellent, judgmental lab partners for thought experiments, and I love connecting with fellow science nerds who enjoy exploring ideas, debating possibilities, or just geeking out over the cosmos. I like conversations that mix wonder, humor, and a touch of existential pondering.
